Training Program for Rubber Farmers in the Northern Region: the fifth "Development of Tapping Skills," from June 4, 2014 to June 10, 2014, at the Administrative Organization of Tambon Namtok, Amphur Nanoi, the province of Naan, in partnership with the Office of the Rubber Replanting Aid Fund (ORRAF)

This is the first session of the year 2014, but the fifth since the establishment of the program. We were granted the use of facilities by the Administrative Organization of Amphur Namtok and the opening and closing ceremonies were attended by the chief and deputy chief of the Adminstrative Organization and the director of ORRAF. In addition to imparting the relevant knowledge to both plantation owners and rubber tappers, STA also educated rubber farmers about the quality of rubber and instilled environmental awareness, encouraging rubber farmers to install equipment for collecting residual liquid from rubber while transporting, in order to minimize odor and prevent motor accidents.
