THE SRI TRANG GROUPS PROUDLY RECEIVES FSC™ CERTIFICATION AS THE PIONEER FULLY INTEGRATED RUBBER COMPANY STEPPING INTO THE "ESSENCE OF A SUSTAINABLE GREEN RUBBER ORGANIZATION"

Sri Trang Group proudly received multiple FSCTM (Forest Stewardship Council ™) certifications for international standards including: FSC-FM (Forest Management Certification), FSC-COC (Chain-of-Custody certification), and product chain management. Sri Trang Group becomes the first fully integrated rubber company in the world to receive the FSC certification in the entire latex product chain, which includes the upstream rubber plantation business through to the downstream medical rubber glove business. Sri Trang Group is proud to act as a leader in pushing the Thai rubber industry and the Thai rubber glove industry to become the premier sustainable rubber industries.

Veerasith Sinchareonkul, Executive Director of Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited ("STA") said , "Sri Trang Group’s policy is to aims to be the leader of sustainable green rubber organizations. We have a social and environment management system, from the source of the raw material and production all products, that can ensure world-class quality. It also complies with the international standards FSCTM or Forest Stewardship Council, which is an international organization that supports social, environmental and forest management throughout the supply chain with strict guidelines including transparency. Therefore, products that have received FSC certification must be inspected throughout the supply chain to ensure that wood or products that came from commercial growing forests are managed responsibly, sustainably and legally. FSC is the standard that has been accepted by buyers in the international market. Sri Trang Group has received both FSC-FM and FSC-CoC certification It is intention of STA to develop integrated business along with the society and the environment stable and sustainable.”

The FSC standards cover the entire supply chain using multiple certifications consisting of FSC-FM (Forest Management Certification) a sustainable forestry standard in the rubber plantation business and FSC-COC (Chain-of-Custody Certification) a standard for product chain management that can be found in the rubber plantation business, latex buying center, latex business and medical natural rubber glove business. The standards represent the ability to protect the integrity of the ecosystem, save our environment and operate a management system focused on environmental sustainability.
