Sri Trang Group Continues the Commitment to Southern Thailand with a THB 3.5 Million Donation to Hat Yai Hospital, the Thai Red Cross Society, and the Songklanagarind Hospital Foundation

Sri Trang Group has extended support to public healthcare institutions in southern Thailand affected by recent flooding, with the aim of assisting recovery efforts and mitigating the impact of the disaster. Mr. Veerasith Sinchareonkul, Chief Executive Officer, together with Ms. Nuchanart Chaiyarat, Group Manager of Human Resources of Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited (STA), presented financial donations totaling THB 3.5 million to Hat Yai Hospital, the Thai Red Cross Society, and the Songklanagarind Hospital Foundation. The donations were jointly contributed by Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited (STA) and Sri Trang Gloves (Thailand) Public Company Limited (STGT), with the support of Dr. Viyavood Sincharoenkul, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Sri Trang Group, and Mr. Vitchaphol Sincharoenkul, Executive Director of STA. The donation was graciously received by representatives of the three beneficiary organizations, including Dr Wiroj Yommuang, Director of Hat Yai Hospital; Ms. Nittaya Maneechote, Deputy Chairperson of the Songkhla Provincial Red Cross Chapter; Assistant Professor Dr. Niwat Kaewpradub, President of Prince of Songkla University; and Professor Dr. Rungsun Bhurayanontachai, Director of Songklanagarind Hospital.

Since late November, Sri Trang Group has continued to provide assistance to flood-affected communities, including employees and members of the extended Sri Trang family. The support has included the distribution of relief kits, drinking water, and essential daily necessities, as well as the donation of more than 900,000 rubber gloves. In addition, employee volunteers and fire engines were deployed to assist with cleaning and recovery efforts at multiple affected locations across the region. These efforts reflect Sri Trang Group’s commitment to conducting business alongside the creation of shared value for society in all dimensions, through our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The Group remains dedicated to caring for and standing alongside affected families, as well as supporting medical personnel, officials, and all frontline teams who have worked tirelessly during this challenging period. Sri Trang Group sincerely hopes that the situation will improve swiftly, enabling communities to recover and return to stable and normal living conditions as soon as possible.
