
Sri Trang Group continues to advance employee well-being and engagement with the official launch of its annual internal sporting event, “Somwang Cup 2026” Reflecting a shared sense of pride, unity, and teamwork across the organization, the event aims to promote employees’ physical and mental well-being while encouraging a healthy work-life balance. It also reinforces Sri Trang Group’s sustainability commitment to continuously enhancing the quality of life of its employees. Featuring men’s football and women’s volleyball competitions, Somwang Cup 2026 officially commenced with an opening ceremony held on 1 August 2026 at Kickoff Arena in Hat Yai, Songkhla. This year’s event has attracted strong participation from more than 800 employees representing 11 companies within Sri Trang Group across Thailand. The men’s football tournament is being held for the fourth consecutive year, with 44 teams from across the country taking part. Meanwhile, the women’s volleyball tournament, now in its second consecutive year, has attracted 26 participating teams. The leading teams from both sports will advance to the final rounds, scheduled to take place in December, where they will compete for championship trophies and combined prize money of more than THB 200,000.
Beyond the pursuit of victory, Somwang Cup places strong emphasis on the values of positive sportsmanship. Fair Play Awards and Outstanding Athlete Awards will be presented in recognition of sportsmanship, respect for the rules, teamwork, and employee engagement values that Sri Trang Group considers integral to both its corporate culture and business operations.
