Mrs. Pacharin Anuwongwattanachai (left), Company Secretary of Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited (STA), represented their respective companies in receiving the “Organization Promoting Financial and Investment Literacy for Employees” certificates under the Financial Well-being in Workplace project. Organized by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the project aims to strengthen employees’ financial well-being and enhance their long-term quality of life. The presentation ceremony took place at the Royal Thai Army Club on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Bangkok, on 9 October 2026.
This recognition from the SEC reflects Sri Trang Group’s commitment to sustainable business practices, particularly the social dimension of sustainability, which emphasizes comprehensive care for employees’ quality of life and well-being. STA promotes financial, investment and savings literacy among employees through ongoing, structured financial education initiatives. These include incorporating all eight categories of the SEC’s online financial and investment lessons into the companies’ self-learning platforms, enabling employees to develop their skills independently. The companies also organize training sessions with SEC experts on “Financial and Investment Planning for Salaried Employees” and “Retirement Planning for Those Aged 50 and Above and Investment Planning Tailored to Individual Needs.”
Sri Trang Group also encourages disciplined saving through income and expense tracking, financial health check-ups, and discussion groups where employees can exchange insights on managing their provident fund investments with guidance from experts. These initiatives help employees strengthen their financial security, reduce financial worries, and sustainably improve the quality of life of both them and their families. This approach reflects the Group’s care for its people alongside its commitment to good corporate governance, aligning with annual reporting disclosures and the corporate governance assessment criteria for Thai listed companies.
