Sri Trang Group reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the natural rubber industry while caring for the environment and local communities by recently hosting its second “One Sri Trang, One Environment: Sri Trang United in Environmental Care from Upstream to Downstream” event of 2026 at Rubberland Products Company Limited, Mukdahan Branch. The event was honoured by the attendance of Mr. Worayan Bunnarat, Governor of Mukdahan, who led a delegation of senior provincial officials, including representatives from the Provincial Industry Office, Provincial Labour Office and Provincial Public Health Office. Community leaders and partner networks also joined the event to gain insights into the factory’s environmentally responsible management practices.
Mr. Chalermpop Khanjan, Executive Director of Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited, and Mr. Mustopa Longsaman, Factory Manager of Rubberland Products Company Limited, Mukdahan Branch, welcomed the Governor and his delegation to an opening ceremony featuring a symbolic tree-watering activity, reflecting a shared commitment to environmental stewardship. The delegation then toured an exhibition showcasing natural rubber innovations across the supply chain, from traceability systems to initiatives that improve the quality of life in local communities. Highlights included a project that transforms used plastic bottles into eco-friendly brooms, generating income for local residents. The exhibition also celebrated the joint efforts, supported by the provincial authorities, that enabled the TO BE NUMBER ONE Club at Rubberland Products Company Limited, Mukdahan Branch, to achieve national recognition as a “Silver-Level Model Workplace, Year 1.”
A key highlight of the open house was the opportunity for participants to observe the factory’s production processes firsthand, particularly its measures to prevent and control odours at the source. These include a 100% fully enclosed raw material storage building, complemented by ozone-based air treatment and a biofilter system for odour reduction. The Mukdahan facility has also enhanced the precision of its environmental monitoring by installing E-Nose intelligent electronic
nose technology, which detects odours and assesses their dispersion in real time, while enabling ongoing sharing of monitoring data with local communities. In parallel, the V-Pass Smart Receive digital system screens raw material transport vehicles at the outset to help prevent rubber serum leakage along transportation routes.
Sri Trang Group firmly believes that this “One Sri Trang, One Environment” event at Rubberland Products Company Limited, Mukdahan Branch, will strengthen trust between the factory and surrounding communities through transparent disclosure of its operational practices. The Group remains committed to advancing the facility towards becoming a “green factory”, supporting stable, sustainable growth alongside rubber farmers, local communities and the environment.
